Abstract: The study examines the geothermal potential of the crystalline basement in the northern Upper Rhine Graben and combines geological, geophysical, and economic data in an interdisciplinary approach. The analysis is based, among other things, on drilling data, geophysical measurements, geomechanical models, and experience from existing geothermal installations.
