Abstract: How can monitoring in geothermal projects be made more comprehensive, yet at the same time more transparent and participatory?
We are investigating the concept of participatory monitoring, which combines geophysical measurements with social science perspectives. The study examines induced microseismicity, risk perception and social acceptance. It discusses how the involvement of stakeholders in monitoring activities within the framework of research infrastructure projects can support dialogue and mutual learning.
